Overview

• Regardles of the reaction of friends and relatives, founders of Matua produced NZ’s first Sauvignon Blanc in 1974 and ultimately changed the way the world enjoys white wine. It all started off with a vision shared by Bill & Ross Spence to revolutionize the New Zealand wine industry by making wines with the best fruit from the best vineyards, a philosophy which still stands today.

Tasting Notes:

• Wine possesses a shiny golden color, smoothing, softness. Gentle, harmonious aroma of fruits like oranges, tangerines, heat, guava with hint of white pepper and floral notes. The taste gives the feeling of an elegant, soft, exceptionally appealing wine with superb structural tannins, firm, smooth system combined with a long, firm finish.
