Overview

• La Braccesca is an Italian estate owned by one of the largest Tuscan wine producers – Marchesi Antinori. The estate is based close to the town of Montepulciano in southern Tuscany and extends over 508 hectares of the wine-producing zones of Montepulciano and Cortona. Sangiovese is the dominant grape variety cultivated here, with smaller plantings of Merlot and Syrah. The vineyards are situated approximately 280m above sea level and sit atop rocky clay soils.

Tasting Notes:

• The wine is made with the main ingredient from the Syrah grape variety, so the bottle carries the characteristic scent of spices with a deep purplish-red color. The spice notes are mute in harmony with the aroma of red fruit, sour gooseberry. The soft tannin structure, integrated with the licorice base notes, create an excellent, deep and lingering aftertaste.
