Overview

• Château Talbot is a property in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Médoc. It was ranked a fourth growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. The Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant grand vin, which represents around 50 to 60 percent of total production, is known for its spicy aromas and silky texture when young, but also praised for its consistent ability to age well.

Tasting Notes: 

• With the dominant content of Cabernet Sauvignon, vintage 2017 brings intricate notes but equally luxurious and delicate. Diverse and harmonious aromas of licorice, aromatic herbs and smoky aromas. In the palate, wine has a moderately rich taste that is easy to drink, with a rich, concentrated and intense fruity flavor. Tender structure with clear tannin gives a feeling of elegance and smoothness. The finish is an explosive and deep red fruit taste.
