• Malengin is the name of the medieval fortress built around 1330 on the edge of this ​magnificent limestone plateau of the Montage Saint-Emilion, the vineyard of Chateau de Malengin is spreading over 20ha of ideal south-facing slopes and showing some spots with limestone rocks. This excellent clay and limestone soil. Provides to the Chateau de Malengin’s merlot its distinctive taste

Tasting Notes:

• The wine has a deep purple color best represented the character of the Merlot grape variety. A strong, complex aroma coming from ripe black fruit flavors that invade and spread, evokes a feeling of fullness and sophistication. In the end, you shall feel the perfect aftertaste coming from the scent of oak mixed with spicy spices, making the overall more harmonious.
