Overview

• The Château Côte de Baleau is located just outside the village of St.Emilion. The soil consists of limestone and sandy soil, not far from La Gomerie. The vineyard of Château Cote de Baleau is planted with 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and has a total area of 17 hectares of vineyards. Among them, 14 hectares are classified, and recently upgraded to the Grand Cru Classé. There is also another 3 hectares of ungraded vineyards.

Tasting Notes:

• Château Cote de Baleau offers an attractive purple ruby-red color. You shall first experience the beautiful aroma of black raspberry, blueberry and vanilla. With faint notes from sweet violets, ripe cherries, and plums. In the end, the soft tannins create an alluring charm with a strong aftertaste, full of fruity flavors and a hint of coffee.
