Overview

• Since its acquisition in 1998 by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her two sons, Domaine de Baronarques has set the standard for one of France’s oldest wine-growing regions. The estate is planted with Bordeaux varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon) and Mediterranean varieties (Syrah and Malbec). A complex blend gives the wine its elegance, its fruit, and its refined aromas and flavors. Through the quality of its terroir and its wines, Domaine de Baronarques takes its rightful place alongside the family’s other illustrious estates.

Tasting Notes:

• Domaine de Baronarques 2017 brings a deep purple ruby red color, the first impressions it immediately appeals to the olfactory with bright red fruity and red grape aromas. A medium, chewy and juicy wine that comes from red fruit. The finish is a perfect aftertaste of the fruit, a refreshing mineral taste lingering in the throat.
