Overview

• Château Ponte-Canet is a winemaker located in Pauillac, Bordeaux and is ranked 5th growth in the “Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855” (Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855). Château Ponte-Canet was founded in 1720 by Jean-Francois de Pontet – Royal governor of Médoc and acquired by the famous Tesseron family in 1975. Under the direction of the Tesseron family, the wine of The Pontet-Canet estate has been greatly improved in quality with high precision in all stages of production from grape picking to grape processing to create the perfect bottle of wine.

Tasting Notes

• Bringing a seductive reddish-purple color, the first aromas include forest fruits and spices interwoven to create unique and rich aromas. On the palate are rich sensations carried by a pleasant freshness. Together with strong tannins, curvaceous structure, moderate acidity will bring a deep, lingering overall.
