Overview

• On the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region, in the heart of the legendary Margaux appellation, lie the 78 hectares that compose the vineyard of Château Prieuré-Lichine. With its gravel terraces with optimal exposure, the Prieuré-Lichine vineyard embodies all the typical features of the Margaux appellation terroir.

Tasting Notes:

• Château Prieuré-Lichine 2018 is dressed in a superb dark purple colour with deep reflections of garnet. In the glass, it reveals notes of red and black fruits coated in cocoa and liquorice wood aromas as well as floral touches of dried violets. On the palate, Château Prieuré-Lichine 2018 offers a rich and full-bodied attack. The multiple layers of ripe fruit unfold in the mouth, supported by the straightness of the fine, granular tannins lining the tongue and inside the cheeks. In the middle palate, it evolves, revealing floral flavours of violets and a delicate mineral touch on the finish.
