Overview

• Château Potensac is a winemaker in Médoc, Bordeaux, owned by Jean-Hubert Delon. The name Potensac is derived from the Potensac plateau in the Ordonnac district of Médoc. The 84 hectares of land is planted grapes with the average age of the vines being 38 years or more. The Delon family owns two other Bordeaux estates, Château Nénin in Pomerol and the prestigious second growth Château Leoville-Las Cases in Saint-Julien.

Tasting Notes:

• Château Potensac 2017 has a bright and elegant rich ruby red color. The wine has a sweet aroma from ripe fruits such as plums, cherry and a hint of delicate violet and lilac flowers. Potensac 2017 has a rich taste with unique and appealing notes of dried herbs and sage. On the palate, silky tannins combine with harmonious acidity, giving the bottle an elegant taste.
