Overview

• Château Lynch-Moussas is a wine estate in Pauillac. It was once part of a vast estate – Comte Lynch was split in two in 1824, the rest becoming Lynch-Bages. Like Lynch-Bages, Lynch-Moussas is ranked as the fifth type of growth in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. It is now part of the Borie-Manoux portfolio. This site is made up of about 55 hectares (136 acres) of vines, planted on silica and gravel on limestone bearing typical examples of the Pauillac region. Soil conditions make up about 70% of it is Cabernet Sauvignon variety and the rest is Merlot grape. This proportion is reflected in the Lynch-Moussas wine, with the majority coming from the Cabernet grape variety.

Tasting Notes:

• Lynch-Moussas 2016 is purple red with aromas of dark chocolate, berries, and mint. On the palate, sweet fruity with well-balanced fine-grained tannins and refreshing minerals.
