Overview

• Château de Laubade was built in 1870 in the heart of Bas Armagnac and at the same time is Armagnac’s leading winemaker. Not only producing spirits, the factory also produces very good quality red and white wines. Each year on the bottle clearly shows its age, which is a characteristic of Armagnac. Over 80 different vintage varieties mature in the cellar of the Château de Laubade. Today, the oldest vintage is from 1888, each vintage tells a specific story and has its own meaning.

Tasting Notes:

• Château Laubade Bas Armagnac 1977 on the nose gives you fruity and a slight freshness. It reveals notes of crystallized lemon, candied orange, and slight touches of peach in syrup. The palate is well-balanced, well-defined, relatively powerful, and offers a beautiful minerality.
