Overview

• Château de Laubade was built in 1870 in the heart of Bas Armagnac and at the same time is Armagnac’s leading winemaker. Not only producing spirits, the factory also produces very good quality red and white wines. Each year on the bottle clearly shows its age, which is a characteristic of Armagnac. Over 80 different vintage varieties mature in the cellar of the Château de Laubade. Today, the oldest vintage is from 1888, each vintage tells a specific story and has its own meaning.

Tasting Notes:

• Traditional Château Laubade Bas Armagnac 1976 has toffee and oak on the nose, continuing on the palate, and joined with vanilla, almond, nutty notes, with maple syrup and dried fruits. Surprisingly smooth with a long finish.
