Overview

• Château Grand-Puy Ducasse is a wine estate in Pauillac. Under the name Artigues Arnaud, it was rated as a Fifth Growth in the Bordeaux Classification of 1855. The vineyard of Chateau Puy Ducasse comprises three large plots in the best sections of Pauillac. The vineyards are around 62% Cabernet Sauvignon on silica and gravel soils, and 38% Merlot on sandy gravel soils. The care is taken on the estate, using sustainable farming methods, produces elegantly harmonious wine. Harvest lasted from September 13th to October 3rd.

Tasting Notes:

• Château Grand Puy Ducasse vintage 2017 brings fresh flavors, first impressions come from the aroma of black cherry, black strawberry, bitterness of dark chocolate and a hint of licorice. The wine structure with smooth, moderately acidic tannins covered with aromas from oak, cherry gives a lasting finish, showing good aging ability.
