Overview

• Château Grand-Puy Ducasse is a wine estate in Pauillac. Under the name Artigues Arnaud, it was rated as a Fifth Growth in the Bordeaux Classification of 1855. The vineyard of Chateau Puy Ducasse comprises three large plots in the best sections of Pauillac. The vineyards are around 62% Cabernet Sauvignon on silica and gravel soils, and 38% Merlot on sandy gravel soils. The care is taken on the estate, using sustainable farming methods, produces elegantly harmonious wine. Harvest lasted from October 1st to 18^th.

Tasting Notes:

• Château Grand Puy Ducasse offers a rich ruby red color with an attractive black fruity aroma and spicy flavor. Aromas of chocolate, pine, mint and eucalyptus are the first notes that immediately touch the smell. On the palate, the ripe flavor of the black mulberry, black plum with licorice flavor gives the wine rich aromas, along with fine texture, soft tannins for a long, balanced and plump finish.
