Overview

• Built and founded in the 18th century by a Bordeaux ship broker, Gabriel Ferrière, the Château Ferrière name appeared. The vines, located in the commune of Margaux, cover only 20 hectares, making it the smallest estate in the Margaux appellation. The soils are composed of deep Garonne gravel on limestone marl, the same terroir that makes Château Ferrière wines among the most sought-after in the world.

Tasting Notes:

• Good black cherry and cream character. The palate has fine substance, with a slightly leaner midpalate, mixed black fruit notes and light tannic structure.
