Overview

• Château Camensac is a famous winemaker in Médoc, Bordeaux. Wines here are ranked 5th growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Wine classification (Bordeaux Wine Classification of 1855). Château Camensac was acquired in 2005 by the Merlaut family, which also owns two estates, Chasse-Spleen and Gruard-Larose. Camensac estate has about 75 hectares of grape-growing land, of which Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are dominant.

Tasting Notes:

• Château de Camensac 2015 is really attractive with a purple-red color – characteristic of two grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Wine shows a complex with a passionate, characteristic cherry aroma, a hint of vanilla’s mild sweetness. On the palate, ripe and smooth tannins combine with aromas of oak. All create a perfect structure, balance, giving diners a great experience to enjoy.
