Overview

• Yalumba Wine Room was founded in 1849 by British-born winemaker Samuel Smith. Initially this winery was called “Yalumba”, in the language of the indigenous people, “Yalumba” means “all surrounding land”. Yalumba is the only winery in Australia and is one of the rare factories in the world to manufacture oak barrels on campus.

Tasting Notes: 

• Bright cherry red in color, this wine has a wonderful aroma, embodying cloves, strawberries, mint and rhubarb. The palate is smooth and juicy with raspberry and cherry flavors, and slim tannins.
